Pakistan Allergy, Asthma & Immunology Society(PAAIS)
Allergic and immunologic diseases currently represent chronic or life threatening conditions and are a cause of worldwide concern. Since its establishment in 2003 in ISLAMABAD, PAAIS has a mission to provide the most efficient platform for creating awareness about allergic diseases in doctors, general public, patients and media, scientific communication and education in the field of allergy and immunology, ultimately striving to ease the suffering of patients who have these diseases.
Aims and Objectives of PAAIS
PAAIS is committed and aimed at:
- Promoting basic and clinical research
- Collecting, assessing and disseminating scientific information
- Functioning as a scientific reference body for other scientific, health and political organizations
- Encouraging and providing training and continuous education
- Promoting good patient care in this important area of medicine
- Creating awareness in general public about allergic diseases through Allergy Camps , through media
